There's a lot to be said for celebrating the values and spirit of the Holiday Season in a small town. Wreaths have been hung on the old-fashioned post lamps along our charming 100-year-old main street where you'll find privately owned shops, outstanding art galleries, even a relic from a former era -- a non-chain bookstore.

After our hearty gourmet breakfast at the Lodge, take your complimentary White Christmas Mocha or Gingerbread Latte in a "to-go" cup and meander through town. You'll find wonderful, unique gifts for everyone on your list. And you'll be supporting small business owners who make an effort to feature the work of local artists and artisans, as well as home-grown products from local wine makers and chocolatiers in their shops.
Take a drive down a country lane to the Lazy J Tree Farm where you can cut your own Christmas tree or choose one cut fresh by the farmer that morning. You'll also find hand-woven garlands of fragrant Doug Fir & Cedar and lovely fresh wreaths featuring nature's own accents such as real juniper berries or sprigs of holly. Steaming cups of hot, home-made cider are served in the barn where you can also buy sacks of organic apples.
The majestic snow-capped Olympic Mountains create the perfect winter wonderland postcard experience. The festive atmosphere continues inside where the warmth of our 2-story fireplace beckons and the smells of nutmeg and cinnamon fill the Lodge kitchen.
Best wishes of the season from our family to yours!
